Annual Knights of Columbus #3580 Back to School Supplies Drive
The Knight of Columbus Light of Christ Council #3580 will be collecting school supplies at all Masses beginning the weekends of July 20th & 21st thru August 10th & 11th. If moved by the Holy Spirit to do so, please drop off any of the following: #2 pencils (12 pack & 24 pack), pencil box (prefer 5×8 size), zippered pencil pouch, rubber erasers, notebook paper wide rule (200ct.) and college ruled, various color folders (2 pocket, 3 prong), composition & spiral notebooks (wide rule), Crayola Crayons 16/24 count, colored pencils (12 count), glue sticks (3 pack), blunt scissors, highlighters, 1 inch 3-ring binder, pencil hand-held sharpener, ruler with inch/cm. markings, notebook dividers, Blue and Black ink pens, 3×5 index cards (100 count), 4-function calculator, graph paper, new Backpacks, new Lunch Boxes, etc. To further assist those with special needs, donations and gift cards are also welcomed, simply place them in an envelope marked “Back to School Supplies Drive” and drop it by the church office or place it in the offertory basket at Mass. All supplies will benefit our students from Light of Christ. Thank you for your support towards the education of our youth! Knights of Columbus #3580 Food For Families – July Food Drive
The Knights of Columbus Light of Christ Council #3580 is partnering with the Renewal Pantry to solicit our generous parish community to donate non-perishable food throughout the month of July. Our mission is to help replenish the near empty food pantry shelves in our area. Unfortunately the need to help struggling families does not take a vacation especially during the summer months. With children home from school, the demand is even greater. If able to do so, please bring your non-perishable cans of veggies, fruit, rice, cereal, etc. to the Church. We have requested additional barrels to be place at the entrance of the church throughout the whole month of July. - As you enter the show field get your vehicle’s photo taken with our giant American Flag.
- All registered exhibitors will receive a free lunch. Hamburger and hot dogs with all the fixings + chips and a drink.
