Charity – Our Catholic faith teaches us to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Members of the Knights of Columbus show love for their neighbors by conducting food drives and donating the food to local soup kitchens and food pantries, by volunteering at Special Olympics, and by supporting, both spiritually and materially, mothers who choose life for their babies. Knights recognize that our mission, and our faith in God, compels us to action. There is no better way to experience love and compassion than by helping those in need, a call we answer every day.

Forth Annual Light of Christ Council 3580 Back to School Supplies Drive A Big Success!

The Knight of Columbus Light of Christ Council 3580 collected school supplies after all Masses on the weekends of August 3rd & 4th and August 10th & 11th. Generous parishioners and ministries drop off a variety of the essential items such as pencils, erasers, notebook paper, folders, notebooks, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, scissors, highlighters, binders, rulers pens, backpacks, and lunch boxes. We were able to assist over 125 children with all these donations. They were distributed by the Religious Education Office to our students from Light of Christ. Thank you for your support towards the education of our youth and we look forward to future projects to build up the Kingdom right here at Light of Christ.
