SUMMARY:Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Icon Visits Light of Christ
DESCRIPTION:The Knight of Columbus Light of Christ Council #3580 will be hosting the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Icon from Tuesday\, September 2nd to Monday\, September 8th. A little about the Knights of Columbus PILGRIM ICON PROGRAM: Every few years\, the Knights of Columbus select a Catholic icon featuring an image that is particularly edifying to Knights and their communities. Each jurisdiction receives one or several of these icons which travel from council to council and serve as the centerpieces for prayer services in parishes throughout the Order. The current icon in circulation depicts the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is the aim of this program to continue to foster greater devotion to the Sacred Heart among Knights and their communities. More than 191\,000 council and parish prayer services with some 23 million participants have been held since the first traveling pilgrim icon of Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1979. \nSchedule of events: Please join us in \nSaying the nine day Novena to Sacred Heart of Jesus from August 31st through September 8th \nMost Sacred Heart of Jesus arrives – Pray Rosary – Tuesday\, Sept. 2 at 7:00 PM in the Church. \nMost Sacred Heart of Jesus Icon Prayer Service – Wednesday\, Sept. 3 at 7:00 PM in the Church. \n8:30am Mass with Adoration after Mass (1 hour) – Friday\, Sept. 5 in the Church \nEnjoy a Muffin after Masses courtesy of the Knights on Saturday\, Sept. 6 & Sunday\, Sept. 7 outside Church
